Today Is A Beautiful Day!

 Well it's not cold anymore!  Weather is warming up.  Today it is . . .

74°F |  Current: Partly Cloudy Wind: SE at 7 mph Humidity: 68%

We have been so spoiled with so little humidity for so long that the slightest bit has prompted the 'ugh!' response.  However, we will not complain.  This really is the perfect weather.  We will save our 'ugh' thoughts for when it is 90-100 degrees and 100% humidity!

We had some rain on Monday.  As Macey and I were coming home from running errands we got a nice surprise - a double rainbow!

 We ran in the house and brought the guys out to enjoy it with us!

Brrrrr! It's Cold Outside!

We have lived in Florida for over 10 years now.  No one is more amazed we are.  Who would have thought - definitely not us! 

We have had one of the coldest winters ever here.  December 2010 was the coldest Dec on record.  I think we have had our heat on more this winter than in all the other years combined.  WOW!

The first time each year that we turn the heat on (if we have to), we have to make sure it is not in the middle of the night.  Every time the heater kicks on for the first time of the year the smoke alarms go off.  The dust that has accumulated on the coils burns itself off (or so I've been told) and the although there is no 'fire' the smoke alarms go off.

Yesterday morning when I drove the kids to the bus the car said 37 degrees.  This morning it was 47 degrees.
